Political Career
After breaking away from the NDA and forming the MVA government, Thackeray became the CM in 2019. However, after a political crisis initiated by Eknath Shinde’s faction, the MVA collapsed in 2022, forcing him to resign. Despite this defeat, Thackeray remains a prominent political figure in Maharashtra and continues to hold office as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
